SYNOPSISHaven: Call of the King clearly has the best of intentions, setting out to be a sort of Legend of Zelda jack-of-all-trades, specialising in some good old-fashioned 3-D platform leaping. The game does have variety in its favour, with tons of mini-games and lots of vehicles and weapons to commandeer. Indeed, the various levels are commendably interactive, even if far too many of them are interspersed with Crash Bandicoot style out-of-screen platform sections. There's also a bizarre obsession with crockery: health pots, explosive urns, hint vases and more litter this game world.
